In this post, we will talk about the importance of the RPA (Robotic Process Automation), today and the planned change for the future.
Firstly it’s good to know, that a automate system can work, from the simplest and common tool, such as a calculator, to the most complex, like a computer.
The novelty of these systems, is that this kind of software is able to interact whit graphic elements, designed for humans, as well as the possibility to performing all repetitive tasks and that involve unnecesary effort by employees. Some examples are: to pass data from one website to another, massive mail or another kind of task that we think.
These systems have a lot of advantage, among which we can highlight, the reduction of time used on tasks (75% Aprox.), the cost reduction (40-70% Aprox.), increase in effectiveness (100%), etc. Therefore, as we have seen, the use of a RPA offers us a saving money for our company, in addition to we will have the posibility to invert the employees time in other task of greater complexity or need for supervision for example, what bring us not only to save money, but the greater happines of our employees, leaving aside those boring tasks and giving them a better occupation.
Looking to the future and with the progress that it´s taking place, the forecasts are that in 2020 most of companies will have implemented their RPA systems. In 2025, it will be common to find inteligents machines with the ability to learn in the most companies.
To complete this post, we have made a video as an example, which shows the speed with which a RPA (simple) would make the copy of a PDF file of 500 sheets to Word and Txt in seconds.
