Proyecto: Oracle eBusiness Suite R12 implementation

This project comes out from the need of one of our strategic partners to work with a team of functional/technical consultants at a financial and distribution level for the Oracle eBusiness R12 implementation in a telecommunication business. For this reason this partner decides to contract our professionals.

The main aim was to introduce as much standard functionality as possible. In order to do this, it was necessary to redesign the current business processes and to adapt them to Oracle EBS. Until that moment our client had been working with separated applications on paper or in excel documents. We analysed its needs and tried to apply standard processes and, in exceptional cases, external processes in order to improve new functions.

The standard modules were: HR, FINANCIALS and PURCHASING.

Another important aspect to take into account was the current socioeconomic situation. We find necessary to analyse different factors such as: business needs, increasing values, technological scalability, investment return, costs, etc. For this reason, AcevedoApps tried to identify the following added values:

  • Continuity for users: we know that learning new technological concepts is very complex for them so we are concerned about paying the necessary attention to this aspect.

  • Usability: a simple use of the platform is the key to keep motivation and increase productivity. Oracle EBS offers the best experience for the user in order to work comfortably.

  • To diminish time and work for the user: with the standard version, some of the present tasks involving agreat effort will be more efficient.
